Everything You Need to Know About FCRC

We know that reaching out for help raises many questions — especially in Pakistan, where stigma, privacy concerns, and uncertainty about treatment can make the decision feel overwhelming. We have answered the most common questions our patients and their families ask below.

No question is too small. No concern is too sensitive.  (کوئی سوال چھوٹا نہیں — کوئی فکر ضرورت سے زیادہ حساس نہیں۔)

What is FCRC and where is it located?

Federal City Rehab Clinic (FCRC) is a professional rehabilitation centre located in Bani Gala, Islamabad — one of the most peaceful and private neighbourhoods in Pakistan’s capital. We provide comprehensive addiction treatment, psychiatric care, and mental health services for patients from across Pakistan. Our address is: P59C+RH4, Korang Road, Bani Gala, Islamabad.

FCRC is led by a team with extensive experience in addiction medicine and psychiatric care. Our clinical leadership has collectively treated thousands of patients across Pakistan. Specific founding details are available upon direct inquiry.

FCRC is registered with the relevant Pakistani health regulatory authorities and aligns with international standards including IHRA (Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority) guidelines. We are in the process of obtaining UNODC and ANF accreditation. Copies of our registration documents are available on request.

Our staff are professionally bound to strict confidentiality. Your identity and your story remain completely private

Yes. You may call FCRC anonymously. Our admissions specialists are trained to provide helpful, informative guidance without requiring your personal details at the initial stage. Many families begin with an anonymous call to understand their options before making any commitment.

No. FCRC will not contact your employer, family, or any other third party without your explicit consent. The only exception would be a direct and immediate risk to your safety or the safety of others and even then, we would discuss this with you first where possible.

FCRC is designed with patient privacy in mind. We do not use identifiable external signage that would draw attention, and our admission and discharge procedures are managed discreetly.

This is a sensitive and legally complex matter. In general, FCRC strongly encourages voluntary admission as it produces significantly better outcomes. However, in cases where a patient is unable to make decisions due to severe intoxication or mental health crisis, we can guide families through the appropriate legal and medical processes. Please call us to discuss your specific situation — we handle these cases with great care.

FCRC offers flexible, tiered treatment packages designed to accommodate a range of financial circumstances. We believe cost should never be the barrier to recovery. Exact pricing depends on the programme type (30/60/90-day), accommodation tier, and specific clinical needs. Please call or WhatsApp us for a confidential pricing consultation, we will always find an option that works for your situation.

Yes. FCRC understands that the cost of residential treatment can be significant. We offer structured payment plans on a case-by-case basis. Please discuss this openly with our admissions team, we will always do our best to find a workable arrangement.

Yes. Family visits are an important part of the recovery process at FCRC, and are scheduled according to the patient’s treatment plan. In the early phases (particularly during detox), visits may be limited to protect the patient’s focus and stability. After the initial phase, regular scheduled visits are encouraged, and family therapy sessions are integrated into the programme.

This is one of the most painful situations a family can face. At FCRC, we provide family consultation services for exactly this scenario. Our team can guide you through compassionate intervention strategies, how to have the conversation, how to set boundaries, and how to encourage your loved one to accept help without damaging your relationship. Call us and we will support you through this.

Yes. FCRC recognises that families suffer alongside patients and deserve support in their own right. We offer:

  • Regular family update calls with the clinical team (with patient consent)
  • Structured family therapy sessions during the treatment period
  • Educational guidance on understanding addiction
  • Advice on how to support recovery once the patient is discharged

Discharge from FCRC is a carefully planned process, not an abrupt ending. Before a patient leaves, our team completes:

  • A comprehensive relapse prevention plan; personalised triggers, warning signs, coping strategies
  • An aftercare schedule; including outpatient follow-up appointments
  • Family briefing; guidance for loved ones on supporting ongoing recovery
  • Emergency contact plan; what to do if crisis occurs post-discharge
  • Optional alumni programme access; peer support from former FCRC patients

Recovery is a lifelong process, and success is measured differently for each patient. At FCRC, we define success not simply as abstinence, but as meaningful improvement in quality of life, family relationships, and personal functioning. We are proud that the large majority of patients who complete a full FCRC programme report significant, sustained improvement. Specific outcome data is available upon request.

Relapse is a recognised part of many recovery journeys; it does not mean failure, and it does not mean FCRC is closed to you. Any former FCRC patient who experiences a relapse can contact us immediately. We will reassess and re-admit without judgement. The door is always open.

There is no such thing as a patient FCRC gives up on.
